Hebrew Year 5786 Prophetic Word. Jesus Says:“DO IT AGAIN”
THE POWER OF REPETITION
“Do whatever he tells you”
(John 2:5)
Hi Kingdom Family!
For the last 24 hours, the Holy Spirit has been burning a phrase into my spirit: “Do it again, do it again, do it again.”
Now, I don’t know exactly what this means for His people, but I do know this: King Jesus is saying, “Do it again.”
In fact, I already wrote a prophetic word for 5786 and posted it yesterday, but the Holy Spirit told me to do it again. He has more to release, and I believe in the months ahead a lot of this will make sense in your life.
There’s something about repetition that God is highlighting right now. Some of you are tired, weary, or exhausted because you’ve tried before and seen little change. You’ve prayed the prayer. You’ve stepped out in faith. You’ve believed in the impossible. And yet, the promise has seemed delayed. But hear this: give it one more shot.
Cast your nets into the deep with Jesus. Follow His exact directions. Fill the jars to the brim.
Give Him your very best.
This time it will work.
GOD IS MAKING YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE
I am currently in the Dominican Republic, in a quiet seaside town with barely any people. Last night, I walked along the shoreline and passed a little boy wearing a Nike shirt that read: “JUST DO IT.” That moment came after an entire day of hearing the Spirit whisper, “Do it again.” I stopped in my tracks because I knew the Lord was confirming His word.
THEN, the Holy Spirit added another layer.
A car drove by blaring a song in English so it immediately caught my attention.
I heard: “YOU MAKE MY DREAMS COME TRUE!”
There’s a theme here. Do it again. Just do it. God is tying everything together in your life. I truly believe with all my heart that this is a directive from King Jesus. He Himself will intercede and strengthen you in a fresh way. He will bring completion to what He promised years ago. Our sweet and precious Heavenly Father is making your dreams come true. Though the vision tarries, wait for it, for it will surely come to pass (Habakkuk 2:3).
Perhaps you started something but placed it down to rest. Maybe you hit a wall and the disappointment caused you to stop. Maybe you met such fierce resistance that the waves knocked you back, and it felt easier to give up than to keep pressing. For others, maybe an illness feels like it’s completely disrupted your life and you’re losing hope by the day. Or maybe God gave you a vision for a creative endeavor but you lost passion along the way.
God says: “Don’t give up now. You’re so close. Try again. Do it again.”
5786 IS THE YEAR OF REPETITION THAT LEADS TO TRANSFORMATION
“So they filled them to the brim”
John 2:7
Whenever I hear the phrase “Do it again,” I am reminded of the wedding at Cana in John 2. This was the moment of Jesus’ first public miracle. He had just stepped out of obscurity and was beginning to reveal His glory. At the celebration, the wine ran out; this was a crisis in that culture, since hospitality was a matter of honor. What could have been a moment of shame and lack became the stage for a miracle.
Mary, with quiet faith, turned to the servants and said, “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5). She didn’t know how Jesus would do it, but she trusted that obedience was the doorway to breakthrough.
Now, whenever I read the Bible, I ask a lot of questions. Scripture says there were six purification stone jars there, each holding twenty to thirty gallons. This detail is not random. In Scripture, six is the number of man, the number that falls short of God’s perfect seven. It represents incompleteness, limitation, and human effort.
However, seven represents completion. Jesus is the Seventh Jar. And you know what’s really neat? Paul makes sure we understand that we are also vessels of God’s glory: “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us” (2 Corinthians 4:7). We are the jars He fills, and when His Spirit is poured into us, it overflows to touch the earth.
Okay, back to the Bible story….
In John 2, those servants took those six jars and put in sweat equity. They did not have water faucets back then. They had to draw water by hand, carry heavy loads, and keep refilling them again and again without knowing the final result. Every trip must have felt repetitive, tiring, and even a little pointless.
Yet their obedience in the ordinary became the very pathway to the extraordinary.
And here is the key: the miracle did not happen until the jars were full.
John writes, “So they filled them to the brim” (John 2:7). We never see Jesus tell the servants to go above and beyond, but they did it anyway. Their obedience was not partial; it was wholehearted. They could have stopped halfway, but instead they chose to pour until there was no room left.
BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER
This is the prophetic picture for the Hebrew year 5786.
The number 6 is where man’s effort meets God’s invitation. It is the place of repetition, the place where we feel unfinished, the place where we are tempted to stop. But if we will “do it again” - if we will keep filling the jars, keep walking the laps, keep dipping in the water, keep looking to the horizon, keep writing the book - then we will see God step in and complete what only He can.
5786 is the year of repetition that leads to transformation. It is the year where obedience in the sixth connects with God’s perfection in the seventh. It is the year of trying again, trusting again, believing again - because this time, Jesus will turn water into wine.
John goes on to say, “The master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew” (John 2:9).
That line is key: the servants knew. They had a front row seat to the miracle because they were willing to repeat the work, even when it made no sense. In the same way, people may notice where you are now without realizing what it took to get here. They might admire the fruit of your life without seeing the roots that grew deep in hidden seasons. They may celebrate the gifts of the Spirit you carry without knowing about the years you spent in the wilderness with Jesus. From the outside, it can look like things happened overnight, but only you and God know the buckets of tears and unseen obedience that went into filling the jars.
If that is you, take heart. Your quiet persistence has not been wasted. Just as the servants were the ones who knew the miracle’s true source, you will know the sweetness of God’s faithfulness in a way others cannot. The world may see the wine, but you will remember the water!!!
And that will keep your heart anchored in Christ!
MORE PROPHETIC OUTLOOK ABOUT WHAT WE CAN GLEAN FROM 5786
6 is the number of man, sin, and the number of the beast …. but it’s also a transition point.
The children of Israel marched around Jericho’s walls six times, but on the seventh time the walls fell (Joshua 6:15). If they had stopped at six, they would have missed the miracle.
Naaman dipped in the Jordan River seven times to be healed of leprosy (2 Kings 5:14). The healing didn’t come until the seventh dip, but every act of repetition was part of the miracle.
Elijah sent his servant to look for rain again and again. On the seventh time, a small cloud appeared (1 Kings 18:44). Elijah knew in his spirit the shift was there before he saw the rain. However, it took persistence to see it come to pass.
Repetition is often the threshold of breakthrough.
This is the pattern: keep doing it again until the moment heaven touches earth. We labor in faithfulness (six), and then the fullness comes (seven), not because of our striving alone, but because God’s completion meets it.
We can’t stop at six. We have to get to seven.
THE SIXTH HOUR ENCOUNTER
There’s another story that will speak to many of you this year: the Samaritan woman at the well.
John tells us she came to draw water “about the sixth hour,” which is noon, the hottest part of the day (John 4:6). It was a place of weariness, shame, and isolation.
More than likely, this woman went at that time so she could avoid the stares and whispers of others. Her past had become her identity.
She was known for her failures, defined by her broken relationships, and marked by rejection.
However, the sixth hour was when she encountered Jesus and the Living Water. He went out of His way to meet her. What is interesting is that she, too, was carrying a jar and she left it behind after encountering Christ. The woman went on to become the first evangelist and impacted an entire community.
Jesus CHOSE her.
Prophetically, get ready to encounter the Lord Jesus in your lowest moments this year. The “sixth hour” represents times of exhaustion, testing, and feeling exposed. But it is also the place where Jesus shows up. He offers living water that not only restores you but also flows through you to others. Jesus often meets us in our shame, because that is where we realize how much we need Him. As people, we will always fall short, but His presence is more than enough.
5786 is not just about persistence in repetition. It’s also about divine encounters in the middle of brokenness and shame.
Scripture says, “Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony” (John 4:39).
History and tradition remember her as a woman named Photini, which means “the enlightened one.” Early church writings tell us she became a powerful witness of the gospel, carrying the message of Christ far beyond Samaria, even to Rome. What began as a shameful trip to the well turned into a divine appointment that shaped her destiny and brought salvation to countless others.
We see here how one broken woman’s testimony sparked an awakening.
If God could use her story of heartache and hopelessness to unlock revival, then He can use yours too.
THE HEBREW PICTURE OF SIX
The Hebrew letter associated with the number six is Vav (ו). Vav literally means “hook” or “peg.” It is the connector, the tent peg that fastens something secure. In Hebrew grammar, Vav functions as the word “and,” joining one thing to the next. In other words, Vav is not just a letter; it is a picture of connection, continuation, and fulfillment.
This year, God is using Vav to remind us that your story is not finished. There is a second part unfolding. The first part of your journey has been written in tears, in struggle, in perseverance. But the next chapter belongs to the Lord’s redemption.
You will be able to say with boldness, “My story and testimony is this: I was weary, I was overlooked, I was broken… and then Jesus came. And then He filled me. And then He turned my water into wine. He found me in my complete shame and restored my heart. Jesus became my everything. And then He made my dreams come true. I long to serve Him for the rest of my life.”
Also, we are in the decade of the 80s, represented by Pey (פ), the mouth. Jesus said, “Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” (Matthew 12:34). What comes out of your mouth reveals what has been written on your heart. And this is where Vav and Pey come together. The peg (Vav) connects the words you speak with the faith that is in your heart, securing your testimony in the earth.
When your heart is full of Jesus, your mouth begins to declare His goodness. Your words align with His Word, and suddenly your “and then” moments start to unfold. Heaven responds when faith is spoken.
A YEAR OF DOING IT AGAIN
THE WALLS WILL FALL; KEEP GOING
5786 is going to be a year of doing it again.
There will be repetition that brings power. There will be moments where you have to pick up what you laid down, where you will have to try again, where you will have to take one more lap, one more prayer, one more step.
The servants probably felt tired filling those heavy jars, but they kept going. The Israelites might have felt ridiculous walking circles around a wall, but they kept going. Elijah’s servant may have felt frustrated running back and forth to look for a cloud after years without rain, but he kept going.
The Samaritan woman came weary at the sixth hour, but she met the Messiah.
And because they kept going, they saw God move.
So hear the word of the Lord for this new year: “Do it again. This time, I will move. This time, I will make a way. This time, the water will turn to wine, the walls will fall, the rain will come, and Living Water will overflow.”
God loves you so very much. Keep going, beloved! The shift is here.
KING JESUS IS MAKING YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE!
Psalm 126:1–2
“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy.”
