Marked by Jesus: Stepping into Your Building Season

“Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory.”

Romans 8:17

Hi Friends! Happy May! I hope you’re doing well and I pray that King Jesus continues to shower your life with so many blessings! I want to encourage you to rest in the Lord as He prepares you for this next season of life.

God has good plans for you.

The Lord gave me a beautiful word this morning to stir many of you awake who might be in a slumber. For some of you, the spiritual warfare from this past season tried to take you out – however, God’s mercies are made new every morning. You have survived. The tide is turning. Our King is bringing a calming presence to your life.

Here’s what the Father wants His children to know: many of you are entering a BUILDING SEASON where the desires of your heart will go from concept to action.

The days of just dreaming about the ideas or plans are over; now it’s time to carry out the vision. Prophetically, these projects, dreams and ideas will be birthed in the secret place with Jesus. They will help people and build into the Kingdom of God.

Psalm 37:4 reminds us, “Delight yourself in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart.”

Many quote this verse hoping it means, “God will give me whatever I want!” However, it’s so much deeper than that. The word “delight” in Hebrew means “make yourself soft or pliable toward God.” Isn’t that fascinating?! In other words, when we become tender and receptive to Jesus, He aligns His desires with ours. These desires are often deep, soul-level longings that you just can’t shake because they come from Christ.

Imagine a baker kneading dough. It starts tough and unworkable. But as it’s kneaded with gentle hands, the dough becomes soft and pliable, ready to rise. Likewise, when we delight in the Lord, our hearts become soft, yielded, and ready to carry His purposes.

When we delight ourselves in the Lord…God gives us eyes and hearts to see with an eternal perspective. We start to care less about worldly and fleeting things and desire to make Father God proud above all else. Jesus gives us dreams and visions to love and empower His people in new ways. Our hearts become stirred to do our very best during our short time on earth. We feel compelled to help the overlooked, mistreated and heartbroken.

Beloved, always remember that our scars and pain have purpose. The trials don’t disqualify us – they shape us. Paul said it like this: “for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus” (Galatians 6:17). Your wounds are not a sign of weakness but endurance and strength. It’s from the places of our deepest pain that we are made ready to walk with others who have endured similar things.

In our weakness, God becomes strong.

A new day has dawned on God’s prophetic calendar.

You’re not stepping into this season empty—you’re stepping in marked by Jesus Christ.

Get to building! There are people who need what you have to share. Go and make disciples of all nations and use what’s already in your hands to build into the Kingdom of God! 💙
