PROPHETIC WORD: THE BIRDS ARE SINGING; GET READY FOR AN OUTPOURING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
“God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight…He spoke about plant life…He also spoke about animals and birds, reptiles and fish.”
1 Kings 4:29;33
Hi Friends!
It’s been raining for weeks where I am. It’s not the kind of storm that crashes in with thunder and lightning, but a quiet, steady rain that refuses to leave. Everything feels slow and soaked. But as I sit and listen to the soft rhythm of the rain, something continues to stir in my spirit.
I can sense it — God is preparing the land. There’s a unique window of opportunity opening before many of you.
This feels like one of those in-between seasons. The kind where joy doesn’t always come easy, clarity takes its time, and even the smallest spark of motivation feels hard to reach. I’ve even found myself whispering, “Lord, give me that fire again! Awaken my heart with a fresh wind of Your power!”
And gently, like a loving Father, He reminds me, “I am the One who makes you lie down in green pastures. I am leading you beside still waters. Let Me restore your soul.”
These restful, hidden, healing seasons have a purpose. The rain prepares the soil. Even if it feels like nothing is moving, God is still working beneath the surface.
And sometimes, the greatest revival starts in stillness.
PROPHETIC SOUNDS HOLD POWER
This morning, something shifted in my spirit.
I stepped outside, coffee in hand, and heard it before I even saw anything. The birds were singing. Loud. Unapologetic. Even in the rain.
Their song cut through the silence and did something to me. They weren’t waiting for clear skies. They weren’t waiting for the rain to pass. They were singing in the middle of the drizzle, as if they knew something I didn’t.
And that’s when the Holy Spirit spoke….
“Remember the birds.”
Jesus spoke similar words in Matthew 6:26 when He told His followers not to worry. He could have pointed to powerful creatures or strong animals. But He chose the birds. The fragile ones. The small ones. The ones that fly light and trust deep.
“Look at the birds of the air,” He said. “They do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
The word “look” in the original language means “gaze deeply” with a focused, intentional observation. Prophetically, the Lord may be highlighting birds to you in a deeper way this season. When one catches your attention, take a moment to look up its type and species — there could be a hidden treasure for you to glean.
Even Solomon, one of the wisest saints to ever live, paused to consider the creatures of the field and air. He spoke of the turtledove in Song of Songs. The lilies clothed in splendor. He pointed to the industrious ants to remind us to work hard.
The little things we often overlook can be Heaven’s most profound teachers.
God is still speaking through His creation.
A lot of people ask how to hear God’s voice more clearly. He speaks most often through the Bible, but He also speaks through what we see and hear in the world around us. Jesus loves fellowship. He longs for His sheep to hear His voice and truly understand.
Think about how God prophetically trained Jeremiah. He didn’t start with sermons or theology. He simply asked, “What do you see?” (Jeremiah 1:11). When Jeremiah described what he saw, God said, “You’re seeing correctly. I’m showing you something on purpose.”
In my own life, that’s how the Lord trained me to hear the Holy Spirit. He would point out something, and then I’d search in Scripture for the meaning. Other times, I’d have dreams, and God would have me search for the symbolism in the Word of God. Years later, the downloads would just start to come, but it was a learning process and still is. We are always growing and evolving in this lifetime. I have learned that the Holy Spirit really loves variety; He often mixes hearing and seeing to speak deeper Biblical truths. Paul says we should all “eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy” (1 Cor. 14:1). Jesus promised the gift of the Holy Spirit and He genuinely loves to communicate with us, even through nature.
The key is to pay attention. God speaks in ways we can understand. We just need to slow down and notice.
THERE’S POWER IN YOUR SOUND
PROPHETIC ENCOURAGEMENT
Birds sing in the rain for many reasons, but one of the most profound is this: they sing because they anticipate what is coming.
They may be hungry right now. But they know what the rain brings. It softens the soil. It calls the worms to the surface. It prepares the ground for life. The birds instinctively understand something is about to break open.
The rain draws hidden treasures to the surface...things that would stay buried without it.
And so they sing.
Their sound is prophetic. It’s a declaration that even if it’s uncomfortable now, the blessing is on the way.
And isn’t that the faith we are being called into? Not blind optimism. But grounded expectation. Not faking joy. But finding a song even in the ache.
Scripture says in Hosea 6:3, “He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.” These rains are not punishment. They are promise. They prepare the ground for what God is about to release.
So if you’ve been feeling worn out, burned out, or weighed down by the heaviness of waiting, hear me when I say this, friend: you are not forgotten. God sees you. He knows your situation, even the heartache you carry in silence. He hears the questions you haven’t spoken out loud. He watches the way you keep showing up with love, even when it costs you something.
The Holy Spirit has good plans for you.
FOR THE ONES IN A SARAH SEASON
Maybe you’re in a Sarah season — the place where the wait feels unending. It’s where the promise seems too far gone and the years have worn you thin. People around you might not understand why it still matters, why you’re still holding on.
But God sees. He remembers. And just like Sarah, your waiting is not in vain. You will laugh at what the Lord Jesus does in your life.
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord says there is a unique window of opportunity opening before His people. It is crucial that you step into this moment with boldness and faith.
This is not the time to shrink back. We must break every spirit of intimidation and procrastination and align ourselves with God’s timing. Our destinies will not be delayed.
Many people have been circling the same mountain, paralyzed by fear of the unknown and perfectionism disguised as ‘preparation.’ But the Lord is calling His people to move. This is your moment to advance, to speak, to build, to go. Do not let delay steal what Heaven is releasing.
There is grace for movement and fresh oil for obedience. The assignments tied to this window will not wait forever. Angels are being released to help you as you step forward. But you must rise up in faith, cast off passivity, and walk through the open door God has set before you.
The Lord is saying: “I am not silent. I am near. I have not passed over you. And just like the rain tenderizes the earth, you are ready for the new thing I am about to do.”
God is releasing long-awaited promises in this hour. You must rise up with the spirit of Caleb and Joshua and take the land. Do not fear the giants; do not pay attention to who is already there. God has ordained you for this moment. Heaven rejoices when the work gets started. This is a time to take action. Write the vision. Make it plain and then run with it! The Lord Jesus has already placed everything you need inside your heart; now release it. Just try. Heaven will intercede as you move forward with action.
This is the final stretch before the miracle. The soil is soft. The season is turning. And Heaven is getting ready to pour out.
So don’t wait for the clouds to clear. Don’t wait for the perfect moment.
Sing now. Trust now. Hope now.
Let your praise be a signal to the enemy that you haven’t given up. Let your worship tell your weary soul that God’s not done. Let your voice join the birds and say with confidence, “I believe something good is coming. It’s marked by the hands of Jesus. Soon, it will rise to the surface! With God, all things really are possible. I am ready to take the land. There are people hungry for the love of Jesus. I will be His ambassador, moving with obedience and boldness. All delay is broken over my life in the mighty name of Jesus!”
“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”
— Luke 12:6–7
